My Thoughts

So,,, wishing you a very Happy New Year and all the best for 2021. 2020 has been a challenging year and I am glad it’s behind us.

It’s been a rollercoaster of a ride and it started off like a horror movie, but something happened that made it my best year in this business.

Now I want to share how a small change in strategy changed everything for me and hopefully it can help make 2021 your best year yet!

The most important thing I learned in the past year was the importance of being able to adapt to new circumstances. In business, it’s not the most the fittest or the strongest that will survive, it’s the most adaptable.

As the saying goes, “In the midst of every crisis, lies great opportunity”.

With my other businesses on decline, I knew I needed to start a side business, I needed a business that is:

• Pandemic proof (able to work from home)
• Completely outsourceable
• High in demand
• In a growing industry
• Low cost
• Global reach (sell to anyone, anywhere in the world)
• Easy to learn and do

After a ton of research and hours of talking to many, many business owners, I found that almost all of them are looking for a way to market their businesses online but they don’t know how.

So I quickly came up with a plan, I will create videos about their businesses and market their videos for them. I put together a package of 3 videos and video marketing services and sold them for $500 each. I made 20 slots available and sent it out to my local business groups.

The response was much better than I expected! All slots were sold out in less than a week, and I outsourced the video production to my video guys on fiverr for about $200 each package. This little experiment made $6,000 in a week. All work was delivered in the next month and my customers were so happy that they put in more orders!

The next step was to scale this up as the demand was steadily increasing and my video guys were too busy to take on more orders, so I had to find a better solution.
